We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Worker to support our Dalyellup Housing team.
About the Role
This rewarding position will fulfil your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service and giving something back to the community. Duties will include:
* Ensuring the buildings, plant and equipment and other assets are maintained in a serviceable condition
* Testing and tagging out equipment, minor painting and plaster repairs, basic plumbing repairs and general labouring duties
* Using a tablet for logging and completing works in our maintenance system
* Maintaining records of all maintenance performed
* Maintaining tools and equipment in a safe working condition
This is a permanent part-time role, working 22.8 hours per week.
About You
You're comfortable working on your own, but also enjoy working in a team dynamic too.
* Current drivers licence
* Previous experience in aged care is desirable
* Ability to communicate with employees and care recipients
* Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements
* Literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to perform the role and basic computer skills
* Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
* Compliance with our vaccination policy, which requires evidence of 1 COVID-19 vaccination and the annual flu vaccination
