Overview
Financial Accountant at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Joondalup Campus. Salary: $95,310 to $102,830 per annum (HEW 6) plus 17% superannuation. Employment type: Full-time, Fixed Term (12 months).
Responsibilities
* As part of the Financial Services Team, work with the Team Leader, Management Reporting and Treasury Operations to maintain internal controls and support the preparation of financial statements.
* Provide efficient and effective delivery of financial accounting and related client services.
* Assist with the maintenance and administration of the Oracle Financial and Procurement applications.
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant field (typically Commerce, Business or Management) with a major in Accounting and a professional accounting qualification.
* Relevant experience in financial accounting processes and assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements for a medium to large organisation.
* Understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and experience with financial policies administration.
