Job Title: Senior Assurance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our assurance team, you will be responsible for executing audits in a timely manner, supervising assignments, and providing guidance to junior staff.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute audits in accordance with the audit manual.
* Scope and objective setting completed with an understanding of tests, clients, industry, risks, and controls.
* Fieldwork performed in accordance with the audit manual.
* Evaluate findings for relevance and form opinions.
* Maintain ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders regarding progress and results.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification.
* CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
* Minimum three years of recent work experience as an Auditor in a public practice firm.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks before decision-making.
