About the role: The Outback Bakery, an award-winning, leading local bakery in Fannie Bay (Darwin), is seeking a Qualified Baker/Pastry Chef to join our passionate team. This is a full-time position responsible for crafting delicious breads, pies, pastries and other baked goods to delight our customers.
What you'll be doing: Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes and other baked goods to exceptional standards Ensure all products adhere to recipes and consistently meet quality and presentation requirements
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety procedures Mentor and train junior team members What we're looking for:
Formal qualifications in baking or pastry arts, or equivalent industry experience (preferred) Proven track record of producing high-quality baked goods to exacting standards Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure Passion for baking and a commitment to creating delicious, innovative products Positive attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
