We are seeking an APS5 Network Administrator. The APS5 Network Administrator is responsible for providing technical support and resolving network issues.
This role includes assisting in the management and maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure, configuring the Agency's ICT network, writing and updating technical documentation, and supporting change management activities.
This is an 18-month assignment, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The pay rate is $55.24 per hour plus super.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Focus on resolving issues within cloud and LAN environments to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
2. Support the network infrastructure established by APS6 engineers, contributing to network stability and performance.
3. Write and update technical documentation, SOPs, and task cards for clear records.
4. Communicate effectively with end-users, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
5. Travel more frequently than APS6 positions, engaging with various stakeholders and environments.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Strong communication skills for effective end-user interaction.
2. Ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of IT experience (e.g., senior service desk or system admin roles).
3. Balance technical support with customer engagement.
4. Ability to work independently with sound judgment, discretion, and initiative.
5. Familiarity with government ICT environments, policies, and standards.
