Merchandiser – Pharmaceutical & Retail Displays
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for executing visual merchandising plans and maintaining inventory displays across designated retail Pharmacy stores. Your primary goal is to ensure all products are well presented, accurately priced, and aligned with the brand's merchandising standards. You will serve as a key liaison between the stores and our Site Representatives, reporting any issues that could affect product performance or store operations. Immediate Start URGENT Requirement
Key Responsibilities
Execute merchandising plans, planograms, and seasonal resets across Independent Supermarkets.
Ensure compliance of product displays, shelf stock levels, rotation, and in-store promotional execution.
Implement clearance PLUs, SOPs, waste reduction strategies, and seasonal merchandising kits.
Ensure all products are accurately priced and correctly ticketed.
Monitor stock levels and rotate stock as needed to maintain freshness and compliance.
Remove aged, expired, or damaged stock from displays.
Keep all display areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Report store-level issues affecting quality, supply, or sales performance.
Record and communicate any store decisions that could impact sales—positively or negatively.
Log and report incidents or hazards to your Site Manager.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel and management.
Support returns, credits, and inventory adjustments.
Perform shelf replenishment and minor administrative tasks as required.
Be available to work extended hours during seasonal or promotional periods.
Qualifications & Skills
Passionate about the Pharmacy Industry.
Highly organised, strong eye for detail and a creative flair.
Happy to fly solo, as well as be a team player with a can-do attitude.
Strong leadership qualities and clear communication skills.
Have a driver's license and access to car to travel between stores.
Physically fit and able to lift and move stock.
Previous experience in merchandising is an advantage but not essential.
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with planograms, refits, and retail ticketing standards is an advantage.
Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
Must be able to pass a police check.
