Job Description
The Glasshouse Systems Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless logistics and event delivery within the glasshouse environment. Reporting directly to the Cultivation Manager, this position is responsible for planning and managing glasshouse operations in line with crop production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage glasshouse logistics and deliver events according to the crop production schedule.
* Emphasize facility automation, irrigation activities, water systems, and deliver outcomes for climate control, crop health, and productivity.
* Deliver the cultivation and cropping program irrigation on over large areas of flowering canopy in line with sustainability goals.
* Collaborate on cropping climate reviews, adjustments, and data reporting under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager.
* Lead selected automation-aided production events in the facility through to Harvest.
* Liaise with Cultivation leads, staff, and Management to coordinate table logistics that will impact facility production and overtime spend.
* Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot/schedule and repair glasshouse systems assets.
* Be the Logiqs automation software lead from the Operations-side (Logiqs SME).
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and service provider contacts to improve overall business performance.
