The Role:
The Contract Logistics Manager is the critical link between OTR, our suppliers, and our 3PL partners - ensuring seamless inbound and outbound operations, high inventory accuracy, and consistent service delivery across our national network.
You Will Provide:
* End-to-end coordination between suppliers, warehouse (3PL), and stores to ensure efficient product flow
* Oversight of inbound deliveries, ensuring supplier compliance with service level agreements
* Management of 3PL performance, driving accountability, service improvements, and operational excellence
* Inventory control including cycle counts, stocktakes, shrinkage reduction, and damaged stock management
* Ongoing audit activity across safety, compliance, and supply chain processes
* Analysis of logistics performance metrics, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives
* Review and reconciliation of warehouse costs, rate cards, and invoicing accuracy
* Optimisation of delivery routes and inbound scheduling for efficiency and cost effectiveness
* Strong stakeholder engagement across suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners
* Ownership of reverse logistics processes and issue resolution across the network

About You:
* Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, ideally within a 3PL environment
* Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse processes, and distribution networks
* Experience managing third-party logistics providers and driving performance outcomes
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement improvements
* High attention to detail with strong auditing and compliance experience
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple business levels
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
