2. Flexible online study - upskill with either a fully funded Certificate III in Medical Administration or a Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting (eligibility applies) via UNEpartnerships.

Eligibility for the Traineeship and Fee-Free Subsidy
* Be 15 years or older, no longer at school, and living/working in NSW.
* Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or NZ citizen.
* Commit to ongoing study and completing the traineeship qualification.
UNE Course Recommended Pathways
Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) (1 year)
* Suitable if you have completed Year 10 or a Certificate II qualification.
Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting (2 years)
* Suitable if you have completed Year 11 or a Certificate III qualification and are interested in clinical skills to assist with treatment procedures.
Additional course requirements include approximately 15-18 hours of study per week, good communication skills, motivation for independent learning, and internet access. You may bring your own laptop or use a provided work laptop.
