About the role:
The Technical Services & NPI team is currently seeking a Projects Supervisor – NPI to join them on an 8/6 days only FIFO Roster based at the Roy Hill Mine for a 12-month Maximum Term Contract with a possibility of extension.
Reporting to the Superintendent Projects, you will be responsible for planning, phasing and interfacing with key stakeholders to ensure seamless pathways for site project delivery. Safety being paramount working in a continuous live environment and the role will also be integral to the varying and multiple interfaces at the Mine Permanent Village.
Duties:
5. Partake in Safety in CRAWs and other health and safety focused activities as part of delivering projects.
6. Work with the Projects team to ensure all projects and initiatives are executed in a timely and integrated manager, to maintain uninterrupted production.
7. Review documents through Aconex workflow, as required.
8. Input into Project Monthly and Weekly reports and dashboards.
9. Ensure daily progress report/site diary are completed and actions tracked and followed up within teams/SharePoint folders.
10. Liaise and attend meetings with all stakeholders, and following up actions required.
11. Assist in the evaluation of WHS documentation and methodology.
12. Facilitate Interface meetings with Village services.
13. Provides technical expertise to evaluate construction plans.
14. INX interactions, submissions and follow up.
15. Attend NPI projects prestart meetings.
16. Attend kick off meetings with preferred contractors.
17. Ensure the Project Team are aware of current high-risk practices and impact on site.
18. Provide input into site notices and change announcements.
19. Assist and provide input into the Project Change Notice (PCN) process.
20. Review all Work Health Safety documentation and related tender submissions, as required.
Skills and Experience:
21. Must be or working towards obtaining the Schedule 26 qualification.
22. Extensive NPI experience delivering multi-trade brownfield projects.
23. Excellent understanding of building constructability.
24. Experienced in planning and scheduling of work and resources.
25. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines, both autonomously and part of a team.
26. Drive a proactive culture consistent with the HIOs values.
27. Ability to prioritise to meet multiple and conflicting deadlines.
28. Seek opportunities to improve performance through innovation.
29. Strong interpersonal skills.
30. Possess good, clear communication skills both verbal and written.
