Senior Vehicle Service Operations Manager
Job Overview:
This role oversees the technical service operations of a leading vehicle manufacturer, ensuring that dealership technicians are equipped to service vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver face-to-face and virtual training for dealership technicians, covering onboarding, diagnostics, and electric vehicle systems.
* Develop and update training content, assessments, and hands-on modules aligned with global standards and emerging technologies.
* Provide in-field technical support, coaching, and mentoring to technicians, including diagnosing and resolving product issues.
* Monitor and analyse technical trends using industry systems, and implement training interventions to address recurring faults.
* Collaborate with OEMs, engineers, and internal teams to support product updates, recalls, and service campaigns.
About You:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a technical trainer or senior technician in light commercial vehicles, with electric/hybrid knowledge preferred.
* Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) required.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to drive change and deliver results in dynamic environments.
