Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, is hiring a Full‐Time Day‐Shift Maintenance Fitter at their Broadmeadows, VIC processing facility.
Hourly Rate: $47-52+ superShift: 5/6am – 1.30/2.30pm, Monday to FridayWorkday: 8‐hour shifts, 38‐hour week. Some weekend work required and overtime available for industry award.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and maintain the day‐to‐day running of the site's production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property.
* Maintain equipment performance to its required production rate, exceeding these rates where possible.
* Responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance program in relation to the production line to ensure minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns.
Ideal Candidate
* Holds a current Mechanical Trade certification (Fitter or Machinist) and has a good understanding of fault‐finding and repair on production machinery.
* Previous experience in an FMCG environment preferred, and open to strong similar experience with material handling systems.
* Experience with high‐speed packing machines, conveyors, sensors, packers, etc.
* Attitude of continuous learning and communicates positive energy to the team.
