Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Anaesthetist to support our surgical and critical care services.

You will play a key role in providing emergency airway management, ventilation, and acute pain services. Perioperative outpatient consultancy is shared on a rotating roster with fellow Anaesthetists.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive anaesthetic services across four operating theatres supporting a broad range of elective surgical procedures.
* Offer expertise in Orthopaedics – Hip and Knee replacement, General Surgery – Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Dental Surgery, Urology procedures, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology – including support for labour epidurals.
* Contribute to the provision of emergency airway management, ventilation, and acute pain services.
* Participate in perioperative outpatient consultancy on a rotating roster with fellow Anaesthetists.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent specialist pathways. Evidence of recent and comprehensive experience in Anaesthesia, strong communication skills, collaboration within an interdisciplinary framework, management capabilities, leadership, engagement in safety and quality activities, professionalism, professional development, clinical governance, and advocacy for improved health outcomes is also required.
