Responsibilities of this role
* Machine maintenance on a fleet of mining equipment, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics, PM servicing, daily refueling and inspections
* Execute planned repairs within time and cost requirements
* Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
* Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
* Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely
Requirements for this role include
* Trade qualified as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent
* Experience on heavy mining equipment
* Demonstrated success in a similar role will be an advantage
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or we can assist you to obtain)
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* A current Queensland driver licence
