Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver ICT services and support to staff, both locally and remotely.
* Engage with business stakeholders to identify trending ICT issues for resolution and assist with end-to-end IT solution management.
* Provide ICT support in property-related projects nationally.
* Contribute to and deliver ICT service projects across the department, including provision of training.
* Assist with delivery of ICT support and services to senior executive officers, ministers, parliamentary staff, secretary, their staff, and other VIP clients.
* Manage staff and routine tasks within the DSD Regional Service Management team.
* Evaluate processes, policies, and tools to ensure they are fit for purpose and seek ways to continually improve efficiency.
* Support the ICT strategic plan and its key deliverables, including identification of continuous improvement opportunities.
* Assist with and/or manage ICT Major Incident and Problem Management for DSD.

Requirements:

* Experience working in ICT service delivery in an operational environment utilising the ITIL Service Management Framework.
* Experience or a broad understanding of project, change, or vendor management practices within an ICT environment.

The Regional Service Management section provides end-user support and services across all regions, provides ICT property project services across all regions, manages Problem and Major Incident Management for all ICT workstreams, maintains a DSD presence at all major locations, and services staff working at all levels and across all business streams within the department.
