About the Opportunity The Recovery unit is expanding at NSW Ambulance with an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Recovery Partner to join our team. As part of the implementation of our new workers compensation strategy, we are seeking dynamic individuals to manage our Workers Compensation Metropolitan claims portfolio. This key role will provide technical advice and apply best practice interventions to progress recovery and return to work for workers compensation claims to achieve outcomes, whilst also fostering care and compassion for those recovering from injury. About You
The successful candidate must have proven and demonstrated experience in managing workers compensation claims for a self-insurer or scheme agent. You will be an experienced injury management professional, managing complex physical and psychological injuries. You will need to be a team player with the ability to work independently in a high demand role, working with key stakeholders to improve recovery outcomes for our injured workers. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and Guidelines and how it is applied for exempt and non-exempt workers. You need to hold current Return to Work Certification and experience in the same.

* An experienced Recovery at Work Coordinator, passionate about returning people to health and work, you can work within processes and policies in a complex and changing environment.
* Taking a balanced, strategic, and proactive approach to your work, you are able to deliver positive outcomes for our customers and injured employees.
* Working collaboratively with the wider Recovery team and key stakeholders you will provide valuable input into current practices and process, with a view to achieving quality business outcomes.
