Located in Byford central, this boutique auto-electrical workshop is an established family-owned business that provides auto electrical and automotive air conditioning repairs and maintenance services to a diverse range of customers.
An opportunity has become available for an experienced automotive industry Customer Service Officer to join our team for an immediate start.
As the first point of contact for our customers, the successful applicant will have outstanding interpersonal skills.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Answering and directing incoming calls, walk in and email enquiries.
* Invoicing and receipting customer payments, including reconciliation of EFTPOS transactions.
* Booking public and corporate customer vehicles, plant and machinery for servicing and repairs.
* Liaising with customers as required.
* Sourcing and ordering parts to support workshop staff.
* Assisting accounts payable and receivable, and monthly statement reconciliations.
* Providing general office administrative support to staff.
To be successful in this role we are looking for the following skills and experience:
* Must be professional, confident and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent organisation and time management skills.
* Mechanical knowledge preferred but not essential.
* Workshop software experience extremely desirable but not essential.
* C Class Drivers Licence - ESSENTIAL
Full training will be provided, and you will be rewarded with a competitive market salary with a view to securing a long-term career with a growing family-owned business. Workshop opening hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday however, this is a part time position supported by our current team.
