Your role
As a Technical Support Engineer (Specialist), your mission is to be the go to expert for resolving technical issues, delivering onsite support and contributing to product and service enhancements, you will also play a key role in training our field service teams in the field and in the classroom. You will report to the Technical Support Manager.
You will be responsible for:
1. Technical Support and troubleshooting: Resolving hardware,software and network issues with a high first-call resolution rate
2. Remote & Onsite Support: Using remote tools and ticketing systems to manage support requests efficiently
3. Documentation & Knowldge Sharing: Creating internal guides and training of staff to improve support processes
4. Hardware & Software Development: Installing and updating of systems across departments with minimal disruption
5. Montioring & Reporting: Tracking of system performance and generating reports for management
6. Customer Service & Communication: Mataining a high level of satisifaction, through clear, empathetic communication and effective problem solving

7. Technical Expertise: Proven ability in mechanical servicing, machine programming, and electrical fault diagnosis. Experience with Atlas Copco products is highly regarded.
8. Customer Focus: Skilled in building strong relationships and delivering positive outcomes, even in challenging situations.
9. Calm Under Pressure: Demonstrates resilience and composure when navigating complex or prolonged problem-solving scenarios.
10. Training & Mentoring: Confident in coaching and supporting diverse teams to build capability and share knowledge.
11. Travel Ready: Comfortable with regular national travel as an essential part of the role.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Branch in Seventeen Mile Rocks QLD, Australia.
