Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Unit Manager in our General/Gynae/Urology team. This is a 12-month maternity leave contract that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to provide operational direction for the unit, and ensure efficient and effective management practices are implemented. They will also be responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient and family-centred care in a team-focused environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Current Registration with AHPRA.
* Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams with a service excellence approach.
* Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relations with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
* Demonstrated knowledge base in labour management.
* Understanding of private health funding requirements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer-focused care.
* High degree of computer literacy including MS Office and various databases.
* Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
