About The Role

Akura is growing, and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to take our brand to the next level! This is a strategic role where you’ll manage the Akura and Akura Property corporate brands, using customer and market insights to attract inbound leads and foster lasting client relationships.

Based in our Rhodes office, you’ll lead a small team and work closely with our Sales team to drive new business opportunities. You’ll also have the chance to travel to our Bathurst office as needed. Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Strategy

* Develop and execute annual marketing strategies aligned with business goals and financial targets across two business units, Akura and Akura Property.
* Deliver integrated communications, tactical, and content plans.
* Establish and manage a digital marketing strategy that supports Akura’s and Akura Property growth plans.
* Champion customer insights, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and behaviour.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and assess their business impact.
* Validate marketing value through internal communications, brand development, and business growth initiatives.
* Oversee brand management, web, and social media channels to ensure consistent engagement and alignment.
* Own and maintain brand style guides for both Akura and Akura Property.
* Manage relationships with external providers (creative, digital, analytics).

Financial & Operational Oversight

* Monitor ROI of all marketing activities, ensuring measurable results and alignment with budgets.
* Approve and oversee marketing expenditure.
* Partner with divisions across both businesses to support sales and operations.
* Deliver timely reports and insights to the Head of Sales and Marketing.
* Chair fortnightly marketing meetings to track progress and alignment.
* Balance marketing priorities across both Akura and Akura Property.
* Manage HubSpot CRM, ensuring data integrity, workflows, automation, segmentation, and reporting.

Leadership & People Management

* Mentor and guide the Marketing team, driving professional development.
* Set clear KPIs, track performance, and ensure accountability across the marketing team.
* Oversee team resourcing to deliver on internal marketing requests effectively and on time.
* Foster a customer-centric culture, building internal ambassadorship and encouraging referrals.

About You

As our Marketing Manager, you’ll bring experience from a large organisation—ideally within construction, design, or property, though we welcome talent from any industry. You will have the leadership skills to build and shape a team from the ground up and the capability to deliver effective B2B strategic marketing plans that generate measurable business results.

You’ll embrace and embody our company values in your work. You can demonstrate:

* Demonstrated experience as a Marketing Manager with exceptional leadership skills with proven experience mentoring, guiding, and developing teams.
* Strong background in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies.
* Demonstrated digital marketing expertise and CRM management (HubSpot preferred).
* Strong commercial acumen with experience monitoring ROI and aligning marketing spend with financial goals.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities across diverse business units.
