We are seeking an organised and dedicated Academic Administration Assistant to work with our supportive Head of Secondary and Head of Pedagogy and Practice, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy, initiative and discretion as a key member of the Secondary Academic Team, coordinating complex academic processes, supporting leadership, and communicating effectively with staff, students and families to ensure the smooth delivery of academic programs.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Support Heads of School with school-wide timetabling, rooming, class allocations, duty rosters and system uploads.
* Provide high-level academic administrative support to the Head of Secondary, Head of Primary and Head of Pedagogy and Practice.
* Coordinate assessment, reporting and compliance processes, including marks books, Semester and Annual Reports, Year 12 reports, and statutory requirements (NAPLAN, OLNA, SCSA).
* Manage examinations and testing logistics, including exam timetables, venues, supervisors and report distribution.
* Assist with subject selection, counselling processes and the delivery of professional learning in academic systems and tools such as Canvas.
* Support effective communication with parents, students and staff, and undertake additional duties as delegated by senior leadership.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
* A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church.
* Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and parents.
* Excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
* High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
* Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and Education Department Police Clearance.
Desirable:

* Certificate Familiarity with TASS and SCSA reporting formats.
* Previous timetabling experience.
* Previous experience within a school environment.
