The Role
As our Acquisitions Manager, you will be the driving force behind Swift Storage's physical expansion. You'll identify, evaluate, and secure the sites that underpin our growth — from greenfield developments to existing facilities with potential for conversion.
You will work closely with the Directors of USSFM (Investment Manager), the General Manager of Swift Storage, and the Private Equity Real Estate and Development teams at Barings to shape our expansion strategy, and you'll have the resources, autonomy, and backing to execute at pace.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead proactive site sourcing across target growth markets (off market and on market leads)
* Build and maintain a pipeline of acquisition opportunities for freehold and conversion sites that meet investment criteria
* Conduct market analysis to identify high-demand catchments and underserved locations, supported by our suite of property subscription licences
* Contribute to the national expansion strategy, including site selection criteria and geographic prioritisation
* Develop relationships with agents, landowners, developers, buyers' agents, and property networks
Acquisition & Negotiation
* Identify, negotiate and execute on acquisition opportunities that meet the investment criteria
* Manage the full acquisition lifecycle from initial approach through to contract execution
