The RPS Project Management team in Perth currently consists of 45 staff and is continuing to grow. We have a strong workbook for 2025 and beyond, with key long-term projects in delivery underwriting our business.About The RoleAs one of the Practice Leads, you’ll oversee the development and delivery of your Teams business plan. You’ll be responsible for strategic leadership, client relationship management, financial performance, and team capability development and recruitment. Reporting to the General Manager and part of the WA leadership team, you’ll ensure high-quality, profitable project outcomes aligned with RPS's national and global strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and grow the West Australian Project Management practiceDrive business development and client engagement initiativesOversee financial performance and project profitabilityEnsure timely, high-quality project delivery across a diverse portfolioFoster a collaborative and empowered team cultureGuide project planning, procurement, and resourcing strategiesMentor, develop and recruit staffAbout YouTertiary qualifications in a relevant fieldCertified Practicing Project Director (AIPM) or equivalent preferredProven track record inproject and/or people leadership of a team of 25+ staff, successfully delivering large mixed use building projects $50M+strategic client engagement and securing new work,financial management, responsible for P&L and reporting.Deep understanding of contemporary construction, engineering, and project delivery methodologiesExperience in contract managementStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsEligible for Australian Government Baseline Security ClearanceWhat’s On OfferAlong with a competitive salary, RPS offers a supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued and your growth supported.
