About the role
As a Customer Support Representative, working in the P&N Bank Contact Centre (Omni Channel Services) team you will provide sales and service advice to P&N Bank and BCU Bank customers to assist in fulfilling their banking and insurance requirements.
This role is responsible for upholding P&N Group brand values and supporting the delivery of our strategic purpose by providing a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Customer Consultant/Sales & Service expert
* Provide general banking and insurance sales and service advice to P&N and BCU customers, primarily via phone (inbound and outbound calls), and identify opportunities to enhance the value of new and existing customers.
* Achieves monthly sales results aligned to sales targets and member needs.
* Engage customers to deliver sales & services
* Ensure that a high level of customer service is provided as measured by individual, team and centre performance.
* Uphold P&N Group brand values when interacting or communicating with customers (including potential customers) and external providers
* Risk & Compliance focus
* Ensure all activities, conduct and performance comply with relevant legislation and Bank policy.
* Reviews work tasks and processes to ensure accuracy, quality and completeness.
* Coaching & continuous learning
* Actively participates and applies learnings in all coaching sessions and leadership routines.
* Attend all required training and complete any additional online learnings within required timeframes.
* High Involvement Team Member
* Support and works cooperatively with others to accomplish team, department and organisational goals.
What will you Bring?
* Previous experience in a retail and/or customer service role.
* Experience in a Banking/Financial Services environment, including insurance, is an advantage
* Experience delivering sales and service outcomes in a busy, outcomes focussed environment is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to learn and utilise system and technology platforms.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Able to quickly establish rapport with customers or potential members via phone.
* Personal resilience and adaptability.
* Willing and able to implement new initiatives on an ongoing and regular basis.
* Strong risk and compliance focus.
* Ability to identify risk and escalate where appropriate.
