Job Description:
As a Team Leader at NSW Health, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians in the Intervention and Family Support Pathway of Kids Hub. This position is open to Allied Health Clinicians (level 4) – Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Work, Dietetics as well as Senior Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist.
This is a fabulous opportunity to be part of a new service in a nation-wide roll out of Kids Hubs jointly funded by NSW Health and the Australian Government to provide early intervention mental health and wellbeing support for children up to the age of 12 years.
The successful candidate will have experience in leading therapy teams and supporting children with emotional, behavioural, mental health, and developmental issues. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians in the Intervention and Family Support Pathway of Kids Hub
* Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children and their families
* Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and their families
* Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure high-quality care is delivered
Requirements:
* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Current registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as Allied Health professional or eligible for membership of professional association for Allied Health disciplines not requiring AHPRA registration. For Psychology candidates: Masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology with endorsement in a relevant area or minimum 9 years service as a Psychologist and current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
* Valid NSW Drivers Licence
