Exciting things are happening at SwiftLine —and we are looking for a MC Driver to join our Melbourne depot. You will place a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods to various destinations.
This role is key to our success as a business as all freight within our network is moved using trucks. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely and efficiently operate MC vehicles for freight distribution in and around Melbourne.
• Complete and supply mandatory daily run sheet information in the format required.
• Adhering to the safety and compliance policies, procedures & expectations.
• Ensure correct, secure and safe loading and
unloading of vehicles.
• Comply with all WHS and NHVR regulation and legislation.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle any issues that may arise during delivery.
Key qualifications and Experience:
Key qualifications and Experience:
• Experience in working within a fast paced, high
volume transport environment is a must.
• Forklift license (advantageous but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid understanding of COR obligations.
• Current driver history report.
• A professional approach and "can-do" attitude.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
All candidates will be subject to a D&A and medical
screening.
