About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our Perth base operations as Customer Service Agents.
Based at Perth Airport, this permanent part-time role plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive passenger journey, from check-in through to boarding. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this is a permanent part-time position, offering a minimum of 20 hours per week and the opportunity to be an integral part of our dynamic team.
Customer Service Agents are responsible for assisting passengers with check-in, managing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional customer service within the terminal. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
Key duties and responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to passengers across various airport touchpoints, including check-in, boarding, and arrivals.
* Assist with check-in procedures, baggage handling, flight coordination, and boarding processes, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
* Respond to passenger inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner, delivering accurate information on flights, baggage, and airport procedures.
* Liaise with airline staff, ground handling teams, and security personnel to resolve issues and support seamless airport operations.
* Maintain compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures, reporting any suspicious activity as required.
* Use technology systems efficiently to enhance the passenger experience and support operational accuracy.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in aviation or a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and remain calm under pressure.
* Well-groomed, professional presentation and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
* Sound computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn and use various software systems.
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Knowledge of airport and airline operations is desirable.
* Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) and Dangerous Goods Awareness certification.
