Lead Allied Health Specialist in Youth Mental Health
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) is seeking a senior allied health professional to provide clinical services to young people and their families/significant others experiencing mental health concerns. The position available is within our new team which is currently being developed as initiatives under the CYMHS reform program.
We are looking for an individual with passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high level clinical leadership to the team. Leadership training is available and provided by the Tasmanian Health Service in partnership with University of Tasmania.
You will be part of a dynamic and well-supported team committed to delivering high-quality mental health services to young people, and their families/carers. Your responsibilities will include undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialized treatment programs.
Working alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services in Tasmania, you will have opportunities to lead and work with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team.

* This is a full-time permanent position, commencing as soon as possible. Working hours will be 76 hours per fortnight.
* The salary range for this position is $123,717 to $138,296 per annum, plus benefits.

Requirements:
* Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
* Current Working with Children Registration
