About the role
Jamberoo Action Park is looking to welcome an enthusiastic individual to join our Maintenance Team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager, this highly varied and hands on role is responsible for looking after the proactive and reactive maintenance of the Company's fleet of vehicles and heavy diesel equipment, while also conducting general facility maintenance and fabrication tasks. Specific duties include:
* Carrying out servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs;
* Diagnosing break downs in order to effectively and efficiently provide a solution;
* Ensuring all documentation and maintenance logs are kept up to date and meet statutory guidelines;
* General facility maintenance and addressing hazards identified within the facility which could include building repairs, painting, fabrication, concreting; and
* Assist with Company projects and developments, including the installation of new attractions.
The Maintenance Team is critical to the business' success, ensuring our guests have a 'quality entertainment experience' and that our team has the resources to undertake their own duties. This role is perfect for an individual looking to expand and develop their skills across a wide range of maintenance tasks. The challenge of identifying and resolving potential faults will motivate you, while an eye for detail will assist you in being able to pre-empt any maintenance requirements to reduce Business interruptions.

Skills and experience
Passionate to be a part of our customer-centric environment that focuses, safety, teamwork and efficiency;
Experience in a similar role which may include:
* Mechanical roles include diesel equipment or light motor vehicles;
* Fitter and Turner; or
* Fabrication;
* Completed relevant training and/or trade qualification, or a 2nd-4th year apprentice with the aptitude and skills to continue to grow in their trade.
* A proven analytical thinker that is able to diagnose and repair a range of faults;
* A strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety Practices in order to safely conduct repairs to the highest standard;
* The physical fitness and ability to climb ladders and be comfortable working at heights
* Tickets/licenses to utilise an array of machinery;
* Flexible working hours including weekends and public holidays;
* Australian residency; and
* Current driver's license.
