About the position:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Self Storage Consultant to join our team in our Gladstone facility. You will contribute to Storage Choice Gladstone's success by supporting the Store Manager in achieving store objectives and targets and maintaining high levels of facility cleanliness and presentation.
Position is permanent part-time with 37.5 hours per week.
The position is one of support to the Store Manager. Sales / customer service experience preferred however training will be provided. Intermediate computer skills required for use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and Storman management software, used for customer invoicing and payments. Training will be provided upon commencement. Must be reasonably fit and hard working. Job will include mowing, garden maintenance and general cleaning around the facility.
What you will be doing:
General maintenance and cleaning of the facility and gardens
Signing up and selling self storage products to customers
Handling telephone, email and walk in enquiries
Consulting with customers on self-storage needs
Entering customer information in the database
Taking payments
Working as a team to achieve store sales targets
Ideal Candidate:
Must be reasonably fit and hard working. Job will include mowing, garden maintenance and general cleaning around the facility.
You will be confident when dealing with customers and have excellent communication skills along with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude. A willingness to learn and a passion for sales. Able to work independently and willing to receive direction from the store manager.
Must have current driver's licence and own transport.
