Job Title: Reserve Management Operations Coordinator
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reserve Management Operations Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our transformation journey, working closely with our Assets & Maintenance Group.
The successful candidate will oversee the compliant and risk-based delivery of our reserve works programs, including tree, fire, and bushland management. They will provide strategic direction to delivery teams, coordinate planning with internal stakeholders, and manage legislative programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and monitoring the delivery of the Reserve Management Technical Maintenance Plan (TMP) to ensure consistent operational standards, risk compliance, and cost-effective delivery.
* Coordinating the compliant delivery of a risk-based vegetation management program that balances rail safety, bushfire management, legislative risks, and environmental values.
* Ongoing development of processes and approaches that support best practice contractor management and reduce probity risks.
* Supporting regional works delivery roles by ensuring work programs are integrated and aligned with strategic priorities and operational requirements.
* Comprehensive oversight and compliance with the Electric Line Clearance Management Plan, including annual review, assurance activities, and validation of contractor training and competencies.
Requirements:
* 5 years' experience in vegetation management within government, transport, or utility sectors, with a strong focus on compliance and safety.
* Proven ability to coordinate risk-based tree, fire, and bushland management programs, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery.
* Experienced in regulatory program coordination, such as electric line clearance and fire prevention, with strong assurance capabilities.
* Expertise in fire or bushland management.
* Demonstrated stakeholder engagement across internal teams and third parties, with expertise in environmental risk mitigation and process development.
* Flexibility and ability to travel as part of the role requirements.
