Senior Lecturer, Nursing
School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences – CQUniversity, offering flexible work‐from‐home options (excluding SEQ). The role is of Academic Level C.
Remuneration: $166,553 to $189,070 per annum (salary $140,740 to $159,767 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading). Annual leave of 5.4 weeks (plus 3 paid days at Christmas and New Year). Personal/sick leave of 10 days, 5 days carer leave and 7.25 hours engaged service leave. Additional benefits include paid parental leave up to 26 weeks, access to an Employee Assistance Program and a Fitness Passport.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs.
* Lead the delivery of course content and contribute to course coordination and curriculum development.
* Supervise honours and postgraduate students.
* Engage in scholarship, professional activities and partnerships with industry and clinical stakeholders.
* Support flexible delivery models, including online and blended learning.
Qualifications
* Possession of, or substantial progress towards, a doctoral qualification (PhD or equivalent) in Nursing or a related discipline.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).
* Demonstrated experience in leading, teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate programs and students.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of the nexus between teaching, research and scholarship.
* Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships within academic teams and with industry, community and key stakeholders.
