About the role of a Water Plant Operator.
You will be part of a team that provides control, operation, monitoring, testing and maintenance of all facets of wastewater and recycled water treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants to ensure compliance with environmental protection agency requirements.
* Conduct sample collection and perform laboratory testing in line with state regulatory requirements.
* Adjust chemical dosing and pumping systems for optimal performance.
* Maintain dewatering plant operations.
Requirements
* Relevant experience in the wastewater or construction industry is essential.
* A trade qualification or wastewater treatment operators certificate would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with workplace health and safety practices is necessary.
* National heavy vehicle driver's license is required.
* Construction induction certification (NSW White Card) is mandatory.
