Legal Counsel – Mining
We're working on an exciting assignment with a top‑tier mining company for a commercial lawyer to join us, and kick‑start their LOD career with this assignment based in Perth. This assignment will see you advising on a range of matters including commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, regulatory compliance and joint‑venture work. The opportunity offers a full‑time assignment initially running for 9 months with a possible extension.
Responsibilities
* Advising on commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, regulatory compliance and joint‑venture work.
* Providing legal advice in the mining industry or similar sectors.
* Partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships.
* Delivering client‑centric and commercially minded legal solutions.
Qualifications
* At least 5–10 years post‑qualifying experience, ideally gained from top or mid‑tier law firms or in‑house teams.
* Strong experience in commercial and corporate law.
* Commercially minded, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running.
* Previous experience providing legal advice in the mining industry or a similar field.
