Permanent, full time.Location: Flexible – Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane (Hybrid)Employment type: Permanent, full-timeAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Officer/Industrial Relations Consultant (or similar background) to join a collaborative team within a peak Industry Association, supporting professionals and contractors in a specialised industry.
This role will see you providing expert advice and advocacy on industrial relations and workplace matters, while building strong networks with stakeholders across the sector.In this stand-alone role, you'll play a key role in enterprise bargaining, representing members in tribunals, developing workplace resources, and keeping abreast of the latest industrial and employment law developments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advice and support on industrial and workplace relations matters.Represent members in the Fair Work Commission and state-based tribunals.Support and facilitate enterprise agreement negotiations.Prepare submissions and monitor changes in IR and employment law.Assist members with WHS and workers' compensation matters.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workplace resources.Build and maintain relationships with employer and employee bodies.About YouYou are a strong communicator and problem-solver with excellent judgement and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
