About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Tyre Technician to join the team at Bselect Moonah in Moonah, Tasmania. As a Trainee Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the automotive industry, primarily focused on the service and repair of tyres. This full-time role offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to develop valuable skills in a supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting experienced technicians with the inspection, rotation, and replacement of tyres
2. Learning how to diagnose and repair tyre-related issues
3. Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
4. Providing excellent customer service and answering customer inquiries
5. Participating in ongoing training to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
1. A passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn. No experience necessary.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed instructions
3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
4. A positive attitude and a commitment to safety in the workplace
5. A valid driver's licence
