At Churches of Christ Queensland, we're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Officer/Gardener to help keep our Toowoomba Aged Care community safe, functional, and welcoming for our residents.
From mowing lawns and tending gardens to carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance, you'll take pride in creating an environment where our seniors feel comfortable, cared for, and at home.
Your day-to-day work won't just maintain our facilities — it'll enhance the lives of the people who live and work here.
About You
You're the kind of person who sees a job that needs doing — and gets it done with care and attention to detail. You take pride in your work, enjoy being outdoors, and value being part of a team that supports others.
To succeed, you'll bring:
* Confidence and compassion when working in an Aged Care environment
* A strong understanding of Work Health and Safety practices
* At least 12 months' experience as a Handyman or Gardener
* A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
* A current driver's licence
* Valid Australian work rights (we're unable to offer sponsorship)
