The Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) plays a central role in advancing Australia’s economic agenda by supporting innovation, strengthening industry, and investing in science and technology. The Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) delivers core digital services and is responsible for enabling secure, scalable and user‑centred technology solutions across the portfolio.
Role Overview
DISR is seeking experienced CRM Developers with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform expertise to support the enhancement and extension of CRM modules within an existing Dynamics 365 environment. The role involves configuration, development, integration and support activities, working within an agile, multidisciplinary delivery team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Design, configure and extend Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse solutions, including tables, relationships, forms, views, dashboards and model‑driven apps
* Develop and implement business logic using plugins (C#/.NET), workflows, business rules and Power Automate flows
* Build dashboards, charts and reports to support operational and business decision‑making
* Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 security, including business units, teams, security roles, field‑level security and auditing
* Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems such as Azure SQL, TechOne, Power Pages, and other enterprise platforms
* Conduct data migration and data quality activities, including mapping, cleansing, validation and repeatable imports
* Contribute to Power Platform ALM, including managed/unmanaged solutions, environment strategies and release processes
* Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform deployments
* Apply secure‑by‑design and DevSecOps practices across development and deployment activities
* Participate actively in agile ceremonies and collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams
* Produce and maintain technical design documentation and support transition to BAU operations

* Power Platform ALM and environment management
* CI/CD with Azure DevOps
* Enterprise integration patterns (Dataverse Web API, REST, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL)
* Power Platform governance, monitoring and troubleshooting
* Microsoft 365 integration (e.g. SharePoint Online)
