Boom Logistics is currently seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team in a full‐time, ongoing role based in Blackwater.
Role Key Points
* Maintenance and mechanical assessment of critical assets

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major heavy lift plant and heavy vehicles in a mining‐support environment. Experience with mobile cranes is highly regarded, though not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertaking and facilitating mechanical assessments of company assets
* Performing repairs and servicing in accordance with work orders and scheduled maintenance
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults
* Working with hydraulic systems, including fault finding and repairs
* Completing Job Safety Analyses prior to commencing tasks
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
* Ensuring compliance with Boom Logistics' Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Management Systems
* Operating plant and equipment as required
Role Requirements
* Relevant trade qualification (Diesel Fitter / Mechanic or equivalent)
* Demonstrated experience with heavy vehicles
* Exposure to hydraulic systems and diagnostics highly regarded
* Strong commitment to working safely
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
