About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters interested in joining our team at Blackwater Mine. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance on our large fleet consisting of:
* Hitachi EX8000, CAT 6060 & Hitachi EX3600 excavators
* Komatsu 930E & CAT 789C haul trucks
* CAT 16M & 18M graders
* CAT D10 & D11 dozers
* CAT 785 water trucks
About You:
* Relevant diesel fitter/heavy vehicle trade qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role
* Proven experience with 789 and 930E trucks along with 600T & 800T Caterpillar, Hitachi, & O&K Excavators
* High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
* Safety focus with a high attention to detail
* Excellent work planning and scheduling skills
* Coal Board Medical/Health Assessment (desired, not essential)
* Standard 11 Statement of Attainment (desired, not essential)

Blackwater Mine
Located in Central Queensland, Blackwater Mine is one of the state's largest coal mines, just 21 km from Blackwater. BUMA Australia has been handling truck and excavator pre-strip operations here since 2012, moving over 35 million BCM of material annually.
Our fleet includes Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks, paired with Hitachi EX8000, Caterpillar 6060, and Hitachi EX3600 excavators.
