We are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic full‐time Apprentice Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Casey Central – Narre Warren South (no experience necessary). Apprentices who are in 2nd and 3rd year are also encouraged to apply.
Our new apprentice will be working alongside our awesome team of qualified bakers and our other two apprentices, who maintain an extremely high standard.
1st, 2nd or 3rd year – Full time; penalty rates apply. No experience necessary but a "can do" attitude is a must! Full training provided.
We have a great team at Casey Central and our new apprentice baker must share our high standard in personal presentation, bring valuable energy, have fantastic communication skills and work well with others.
Weekdays, weekends, some early 4AM & 7AM starts and public holidays are part of this position. Must have full availability over Christmas and Easter.
Completing an apprenticeship with Bakers Delight involves more than just going to school or training. Apprentices are hands on from day one. You will learn the art and science of baking through formal training, one‐on‐one coaching and support from baking team members, and through practice, practice, practice.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
* Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
* Assisting the Manager with stock control and production expenses
* Learning new skills and products
* Providing delightful customer service when required
