Epiroc is now hiring experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Kalgoorlie Service team. These roles are being offered on 8/6 or 2/2 roster options, FIFO ex Perth, based on client sites and our Epiroc workshop. Residential opportunities also on offer at our Service Centre.
We are looking for fitters with OEM experience to jump into this hands on role!
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements
* Creating and developing strong relationships with customers and team members
* Carrying out specialised repairs, rebuilds and maintenance work on Epiroc's range of surface mining equipment
* Carrying out service and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and RCS systems
* Solve complex equipment-related issues including diagnostic fault finding
* Providing a high level of technical product support to our customers
Ideally, you will possess the following experience and qualifications:
* Relevant trade qualifications - OEM experience is highly regarded!
* Epiroc surface ground product experience
* Customer-facing experience or similar
* Extensive experience in the maintenance of surface heavy mobile mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics, and rebuilds
* Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex mechanical and hydraulic problems
The successful candidate must be a strong team player with excellent relationship-building skills. A positive attitude and commitment to all areas of service operations are essential to the job.
Also, candidates will have an obvious commitment to OH&S, Quality and Environment policies and procedures; they also have a strong desire to deliver best practice solutions for our customer's business.
As part of our recruitment process, we require a National Police Clearance, pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen amongst other verification requirements.
