The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality, accurate and timely administration support to the Asset Systems & Planning department.
The position will also support project and contract management activities to ensure all deliverables are completed in accordance with the council's delivery and operational plans.
Key Accountabilities:
* Deliver high level of administration support to the Asset Systems & Planning team to ensure successful completion of key deliverables and legislative and regulatory requirements are met.
* Prepare and maintain a wide range of accurate documentation and systems associated with administration support including obtaining quotes, preparing project plans, raising of purchase orders, invoicing and private works packages.
* Assist with pre-planning of projects to ensure shovel-ready repair or improvement.
* Provide written reports on work related functions, safety, incidents and public risk matters.
* Ensure projects are planned to optimise use of resources and support the sourcing of grant funding applications.
* Accurate and efficient data input and records management using a range of Council data capture devices and systems including the training of operational staff in the use of these systems.
* Act as grant administrator ensuring milestones and reporting is kept on track.
* Prepare, cost and submit eligible grant applications in accordance with the corporate grants approval process.
* Prepare request for quotation, contractual and tender documentation for review as needed.
* Administrate and update the team's projects through the PULSE Project Management and Control Module.

We are seeking someone who has or is willing to obtain:
* TAFE Business Administration Certificate III level or equivalent and/or minimum 3 years relevant experience
* Current Class C Driver Licence
* General Construction Induction (White Card)
About the Role
Full time: 70-hour fortnight
Salary: Range from $70,179 to $80,704 pa + 12% super
