HSE Advisor – Solar Farm – FIFO – Mount Isa. UGL is a leader in Australia's energy transition, delivering largescale solar and battery projects end-to-end, having installed 13 utility-scale solar farms nationwide. The HSE Advisor will support a new project that extends existing Mount Isa solar assets.

About the role
The Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor will support site delivery on a largescale renewable energy project. You'll report to the onsite HSE Manager and work closely with the broader project delivery team. The role is hands-on and split between work in the field and the site office. It's about strong fundamentals: being visible on site, driving compliance, supporting safe work, and applying UGL's HSE Management System consistently.
Key responsibilities
* Provide practical, day‐to‐day HSE support across site activities.
* Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and on-site safety conversations.
* Complete regular site walks and inspections to keep standards on track.
* Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow‐up actions.
* Manage HSE documentation, reporting and compliance with UGL's HSE Management System.

About you
* Experience as an HSE Advisor in heavy industry (construction, power, oil & gas, mining or similar).
* Willingness to FIFO on a 10/4 roster and be able to travel via Brisbane for early flights to Mount Isa.
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
* Ability to work autonomously while remaining highly team focused.
* Strong site presence and practical approach to compliance.
