Stock Controller / Receiving Team Leader

Due to an increase in workload & distribution channels, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at our Rocklea Distribution Centre.
You'll be responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring data integrity of the WMS and ERP systems, leading a small team, and ensuring FIFO is adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate stock counts through regular inventory checks and audits.
Ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain product quality.
Oversee and participate in replenishment and stock receipt activities.
Ensure all incoming stock is checked, recorded, and stored correctly.
Support purchasing and inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels.
Lead by example and coordinate day-to-day activities of the stock team.
Use inventory management software and systems to track stock movement.
Identify and resolve stock discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, in FMCG preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Understanding of purchasing and inventory control is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate with experience using warehouse management systems.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
