Salary: $68,865 – $83,200 (depending on experience and skill set)

Lasseters Hotel Casino is seeking committed and professional Security Officers to join our team. In this frontline role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our property, assets, guests, and staff. You will demonstrate strong judgement, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to risk management while delivering exceptional customer service across all areas of the venue.
About the Role
* Provide a visible and professional security presence across the property
* Respond to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns promptly and appropriately
* Monitor venue operations to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
* Support conflict resolution using sound judgement and de-escalation techniques
* Conduct regular patrols, reporting, and risk assessments
* Prepare accurate, detailed incident reports
* Collaborate with internal departments and external authorities when required
* Uphold Lasseters' policies, procedures, and customer service standards
Experience & Qualifications
* Relevant security qualification equivalent to AQF Certificate II or III, with associated work experience
* Minimum1 year of full-time (or equivalent) experience for Cert II
* Minimum 1 year of 20+ hours per week experience for Cert III
* Current Security Licence and First Aid Certificate
* RSA and RSG certificates, or the ability to obtain these
* Ability to obtain a Casino Operatives Licence
* At least three years of full-time work experience at the required skill level
* Strong customer service background
* Solid report writing skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks, and work in fast-paced environments
* Experience providing a professional security presence within properties
