Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Workday expert to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. As a Principal Consultant, you will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday HCM solution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Become a Workday product expert with in-depth knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
* Leverage your expertise to recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe, adapting scope as needed.
* Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions using best practices and understanding of unique business requirements.
* Regularly engage and support clients throughout all project phases, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday HCM.
* Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping clients, project teams, and Engagement Managers informed of changes or progress.
* Work alongside integration teams to configure and test integrations between Workday and client-selected payroll and benefits providers.
* Take a leadership position on projects or as a Collaborative or Workday Product Partner Lead and/or DA Reviewer.
* Display hands-on expertise of software, including loading customer data, moving configuration between tenants, and configuring business processes and security.
* Utilize technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, or related field required;
* Certification in Workday HCM, Workday Recruiting, or Workday Talent highly desired;
* 2+ years of Workday implementation experience, highly desired;
* 2-5 years of Human Resources, Payroll, or financial software experience, required;
* 2-5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software, highly desired;
* Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management;
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively manage customer expectations;
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs.
