Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a leading mining and civil contractor committed to sustainable resource development and land rehabilitation. With a proven track record across Australia's mining regions, we are now seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer for a high-profile mine rehabilitation project in Moranbah.
About the Role
As our Civil Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in planning, delivering and monitoring civil works associated with mine rehabilitation. This includes:
* Designing and overseeing earthworks, drainage and erosion control structures
* Working closely with environmental specialists, surveyors and contractors
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards
* Providing technical input into project delivery, scheduling and reporting
About You
You are a driven and detail-focused professional who enjoys problem solving and working outdoors. You'll also bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in civil construction, mining, or rehabilitation projects (Preferably QLD Coal Mining)
* Strong knowledge of earthworks, hydrology, and civil design principles
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship
* Current Coal Board Medical
* Current Standard 11
