The Role An opportunity has become available for a Customer Service Officer to join a community focused housing provider based in inner Brisbane. This position is the first point of contact for tenants and is integral to delivering high quality, empathetic and solutions focused service. You will manage inbound enquiries, support tenancy and rent administration, coordinate maintenance requests and ensure tenant matters are resolved or escalated appropriately. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for tenant enquiries via phone and email Provide clear advice on rent, payments and general tenancy matters Manage rent accounts and low level arrears, including payment plans and routine rent reviews Coordinate reactive maintenance requests and liaise with contractors and internal teams Maintain accurate tenant and property records Triage issues and escalate complex matters to Tenancy Managers or support services as required Follow up enquiries to ensure timely resolution and positive tenant outcomes The Ideal Candidate Minimum two years experience in a customer service or call centre environment Experience within community services, housing, government, tenancy or not for profit sectors is highly regarded Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated empathy and ability to work with vulnerable or diverse client groups Confident handling challenging conversations and de escalating issues Well organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast paced, high contact environment The Opportunity Meaningful role supporting community housing outcomes Supportive and values driven team environment Central Spring Hill location close to public transport Ongoing training and development To Apply Click Apply Now to submit your application, or email Kristina on khalfpenny@goughrecruitment.com.au.
