Role
The Senior Manager position will be required to work closely with the DTP contract management team and lead the MR4 Close-Out activities. The role will be accountable for effectively closing out the contractual arrangements of the MR4 franchise agreement; validating the delivery of obligations, resolving outstanding financial claims and reconciling payments; procuring relevant audits on rolling stock, infrastructure, OCMS and land to confirm conditions, facilitating end of term activities and negotiating the commercial resolution of any outstanding issues.

We are seeking a candidate skilled in utilizing comprehensive knowledge of procurement, finance, and stakeholder management to inform expenditure decisions, manage risks, and foster partnerships; adept at strategic influence, negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving across various levels and sectors, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, collaborative prowess, impactful communication, and effective team management.

• Provided specialised expert and highly strategic advice to senior business executives on specialist areas of ongoing contract management and service delivery.
• Built and maintained effective relationships with senior business executives, external support, broader transaction team and franchisees to achieve project objectives.
• Managed junior team members and supported them to deliver project outcomes effectively.
• Complied with departmental policies and governance frameworks and fit for purpose workforce plans delivered.
• Delivered on key contractual arrangements through implementation of effective project management, procurement and probity processes through all phases of the project.
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory
Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, finance, economics, business management or proven extensive experience.
Desirable
Extensive experience in contract management/administration.
